PI40 E30 Slim Steel Door Passes Fire Test at 1000 °C

Successful fire test.

We are pleased to announce that our PI40 E30 slim hot-rolled steel door has passed fire chamber testing at temperatures reaching 1000 °C. It passed at the first attempt, in accordance with BS EN 1634-1, and we extended the test to the maximum possible for class E30: 30 + 6 minutes.

Thanks to our technology, the doors showed no deviation or major deformation.

PI40 E30 is certified to BS EN 1634-1 as a single door, double door, sidelight, and double door with sidelights (classification reports KG – 01/26/OG, KG – 02/26/OG, KG – 04/26/OG and KG – 02-04/26/OG). Our other certified fire doors are W40 E30, which also has Warrington Certifire approval, and JANISOL 2 EI30 where insulation is needed as well as integrity.
